A multiplatform tool for document interoperability testing

Sala Lauree 14:00 - 14:30 We will present a platform and application independent tool for interoperability testing of office applications, together with results obtained by testing odt and docx documents in the LibreOffice 4.0 and 4.1, Apache OpenOffice 3.4 and 4.0 and Microsoft Office 2013 office suites.

ODFAutoTests: Automatically testing of loading, saving and rendering of any ODF software

Sala Lauree 14:30 - 15:00 ODFAutoTests is a project that contains tests for ODF software. The core of the project is a set of XML files that contain ODF fragments and expected results, logical and visual. By running these tests in ODF implementations and comparing the results, we can assess the quality of the various implementations.

Real-time compatible ODF change-tracking

Sala Lauree 15:00 - 16:00 The OASIS Advanced Document Collaboration subcommittee is working on an update of OpenDocument change-tracking (CT). The update will not only enhance the existing CT feature set to the current state of the art, e.g. tracking style changes, but lay the foundation for the standardization of real-time collaboration (RTC) by making CT compatible to RTC. In the first part Svante shows on beginner level the design of the new change-tracking in a nutshell. In the second part Peter shows the prototype of a LibreOffice extension based on the new ideas.

Coffee-Break

Sala Lauree 16:00 - 16:45

DROD - ODF the Python way

Sala Lauree 16:45 - 17:45 This talk will present DROD, a set of Python tools aiming at manipulating ODF files, their content, and at tackling the change management issue in the ODF spec.

Many users, one document: Realtime collaborative editing on ODF documents

Sala Lauree 17:45 - 18:15 Working together on documents from different computers is a very useful feature for word processors. WebODF is software for viewing and editing ODF documents. We have given it the ability to let multiple users work on one document at the same time.
